In this lesson students will read and complete comprehension activities about how much recycling can save, practise much and many, practise the pronunciation of quantities, percentages, fractions and decimals.

 

Cutting Down on Waste

In this lesson students will discuss ways of reducing waste, watch a video about how to reduce waste and present their ideas practising the language of persuasion.

 

Veganism and the Environment

In this lesson students will discuss types of pollution, watch a video about the advantages of reducing the consumption of animal products, practice the pronunciation of quantities.

 

Reducing Waste to Zero

In this lesson students will watch a video about a girl who has reduced her waste to almost nothing by recycling, reusing and avoiding use of plastic packaging. This lesson practices direct and indirect questions.

 

Ways of reducing packaging

In this lesson students will learn about plastic pollution, suggest ways of reducing packaging and organise a litter-pick event (collecting discarded plastic waste).

 

Recycling Project

In this lesson students will focus on the advantages of recycling and reusing, practise presentation techniques, practise the language of suggesting, encouraging and advising.
